This course includes 130 contact hours with instructors including preceptor contact, plus a concurrent self-directed home study portion (180 hours) for a total of 310 Arts and Science education hours. This course is skill based and clinically oriented. The practical workshops will emphasize surface anatomy palpation, needle insertion techniques, specific condition treatments and many reality based patient complaint and treatment sessions. This practical learning approach helps participants achieve the program’s objectives and also allows the participant to integrate the learning easily into their own clinical practice.
